The brand new track “We’ll Be Together” has a lovely soulful groove moving along at a very danceable 100 bpm. Harry’s vocals are sublime as usual and Dave adds some trademark rhythm guitar work and a soulful melodic solo to complement the Jazzy vibe. Backing vocals are provided by the lovely Rhonda Gooderham with a bit of help from Dave as well. Dave first met Harry over 20 years ago when they were working together on a Motown tribute theatre show. Harry has been touring the country for the last couple of years as the star of the very successful LUTHER Live theatre show, so Dave is very proud and honoured to have Harry on these recordings. The two collaborations with Harry will no doubt be featured on Dave’s forthcoming album release ACID LOUNGE 7 later in the year.

Harry is best known as the star of the ultra successful show “LUTHER” where he portrays an uncanny vocal likeness to the now departed Soul legend Luther Vandross. On this recording Dave encouraged Harry to be more himself and one thing is sure….this guy can sing!! The addition of some super tasteful Dave Mascall trademark guitar playing makes this song a delight to the ears. There are 2 new mixes here … the modern Soul radio mix at 3mins 30 secs and the extended remix at just over 6 mins. Dave has surpassed himself with this fantastic new remix…changing the original track from the classic slow Soul ballad form in 6/8 time to a lovely 4/4 Soul groover at 90bpm. Dave has taken the original vocal performances and built up a new track complete with new guitar parts and solos.
